Mitch Mitchell has died today. I've been a fan of Jimi Hendrix since the first time I heard him play. Mitch though played a key role in making that sound come alive the way it did.
Up to the day he died he was doing what he loved touring the US playing music.
"LOS ANGELES (AFP) -- British-born drummer Mitch Mitchell, the last surviving member of legendary 1960s band The Jimi Hendrix Experience, was found dead Wednesday in a hotel room in Oregon, officials said. He was 62."
